Welcome to Estonia, to Haapsalu Vocational Education and Training Centre to get together and go on with our Business Plans. To remind you what is going on have a look at our activities below.

Timetable of Project Activities

 

11 March - Monday

Arriving to Haapsalu, meeting the participants at the hotel (Bus Station). giving the first directions about the following days. Discussing the activities of the projects' 4th meeting.

12 March - Tuesday

8.25 Meeting the participants at the hotel lounge

8.48 Bus to school from the nearest bus stop

9.00 Breakfast at school (free for all)

9.30 – 11.00 Welcoming speech by the Headmistress of Haapsalu Vocational Education Centre; short presentations of the schools and home towns by the students; (room 209)

11.00 – 13.00 Seminar about Financing of Small Business. (The lecturer is Mehis Pärn. He is a project manager of an enterprise, called Entrepreneurial Village that organizes the entrepreneurial trainings for youth and children. He will work with our groups during the first day and give the guidelines for the workshops during the next days.) (room 209)

13.00 Lunch at school (free for all).

14.00 The students start working in groups and filling their given tasks about financing. (301; 310)

15.00 School tour for the teachers (main building, wood house, building lab)

16.15 Estonian Dinner at school (free for all).

13 March - Wednesday

9.00 Breakfast at school (free for all)

9.30 – 11.00 School tour for the students (main building, wood house, building lab)

11.00 – 13.00 the students are working in groups - the second task – they have to get ready with it before lunch. (301, 310)

9.30 – 12.00 The teachers have a round table meeting to share their teaching methods and other interesting tasks in teaching entrepreneurship. Liina Krips, the Career Counsellor of HKHK presents the career suitcase and Mall Vainola, the Educational Technologist of HKHK presents the e-learning courses that are created by our teachers and used in our lessons.

12.00 – 12.45 The teachers can visit the handicraft class and get acquainted with Estonian handicraft

12.45 Lunch at school (free for all).

13.30 Bus to town

14.00-16.00 Sightseeing tour in the Bishop Castle, walk on the Promenade, getting acquainted to the Resort Life of Haapsalu              (with the students of HKHK)

16.00 – Free time – possibilities to go to the pizza bar, bowling, shopping, etc.

             Teachers – cake and coffee at Müüriääre café (a nice cosy place in the old town)

14 March - Thursday

9.00 Breakfast at school (free for all)

10.00 Visit to the Haapsalu Door Factory – one of the biggest industries in Lääne County.

13.00 Lunch at school (free for all).

13.30 Working in groups with their Business Ideas, the last tasks and preparations for the presentation (301)

15.00 – 16.00 the groups are presenting their work (209)

Free time – it’s possible to arrange a farewell dinner on your own expenses

15 March - Friday

Summarizing the project activities. Discussions about the coming meeting in Iceland - guidelines how to make the final presentations of the whole project. Sharing the tasks for the following period.
Walking tour in old town with local students; possibility to visit the Railway museum.
